Food & Nutrition

Managing a balanced meal or even having a regular meal schedule can be a challenge for any student.

As on campus housing has begun to reduce the amount of kitchens available to students. Learning how to utilize a coffee maker, microwave and electric kettle can be a life saver for any student tired of cafeteria food.

It would also come in handy to know which restaurants on campus offer specials on their end of day products. While still keeping within a strict budget and basic nutrition recommendations.

Included on this page are links for some of the on campus resources available to all Texas Tech students. The Red Raider Food Pantry is for students in need a source for food.

There is also a link for students that want to know more about the healthier options on campus. The on campus dietitian can answer questions based on your dietary needs and there is even an option to schedule a cooking demo with our on campus chef.

Even with a healthy diet, there is also the need for a basic work out. Be sure to look at the page for the free resources available at the Rec Center on campus.
