Our Purpose

Our website was created by three current Texas Tech students who, in the interests of our youth’s education heading into adulthood with the practical skills and knowledge needed to survive, have created a survival guide that provides the best guide for any freshman entering their first year in college and directs younger generations on the route to a successful professional and practical career.

Our ability to function successfully as an adult will depend heavily in part on our practical skills. Lessons learned from this website can be utilized in everyday life and are just as important as core curriculum classes. Setting up our website to help our youth in the best way possible is the most effective way to ensure that our younger generations can responsibly and successfully fend for themselves when they have reached adulthood, no matter the obstacle. From a flat tire to the periodic table, our students need to be able to have the knowledge to overcome everyday challenges that life throws at them.

With the proper knowledge, younger generations can graduate and enter society as responsible young adults who who can overcome practical and professional obstacles in their every day lives. We will gradually begin to see a decrease in rates regarding our generations inability to perform everyday tasks.

We may not all find a practical use for functional polynomials or the Pythagorean theorem, but every one of us must learn to keep a healthy diet, manage a credit rating, and do basic car maintenance. Whether you’re taking online courses, or learning from a classroom, we recommend using our website to navigate through any everyday problem you come across.
